PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 27, 2024, for an amount not to exceed $1,167,816.40. This contract consists of purchasing from the competitively let Sourcewell contract for the purchase of nineteen (19) remote speaker microphones, thirty-eight (38) chargers, nineteen (19) batteries, nineteen (19) APX 900 radios, as well as device software, installation, and programming. Existing equipment being utilized by Animal Enforcement Officers are now obsolete and no longer being manufactured, making repair of broken or malfunctioning components impossible. This request will allow animal enforcement officers continued use of equipment for emergency services.
