PURPOSE:

Consists of purchasing off the Statewide Contract (SWC) No. 99999-SPD-NVPWA06913-0004 for thirty-one (31) new mobile APX 6500 portable radios.  The previous radios were discontinued and are no longer supported. These radios will replace the current models to ensure interoperability within the County’s current Motorola System and other agencies during emergencies and special operations.
