PURPOSE:
To consider entering into an agreement with the City of Stone Mountain for DeKalb County to install traffic calming devices on Cloud Street. To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
Changes in the service delivery agreement between the County and the City of Stone Mountain impacted the traffic calming process on Cloud Street which was already in the final petition process. This agreement is necessary for the installation of the traffic calming devices. The County will be responsible for levying and collecting taxes and/or fees for the purpose of maintenance of the devices.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total cost to DeKalb County would not exceed $24,435.00. This funding is from the Roads & Drainage budget.

Recommended Action
To enter into an agreement with the City of Stone Mountain for DeKalb County to install traffic calming devices on Cloud Street. To authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
