PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 26, 2018 to two vendors for a total amount not to exceed $379,664.00 with an amount not to exceed $189,832.00 for Rem-Kiks. On June 25, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for ratification of payment for previously rendered services and the first renewal option for amounts not to exceed $110,224.85 and $324,387.60, respectively. The contract for the second vendor was not renewed. On June 23, 2020, the BOC approved the second renewal for an amount not to exceed $646,944.45. This contract consists of the provision of personal care, homemaker and respite tasks as supportive services to allow seniors to age in place.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval to exercise the 3rd renewal option through June 30, 2022 with:
Rem-Kiks Health Care Services, Inc., 3448 Mountain Drive, Decatur, GA 30032
Amount Not To Exceed: $646,944.45
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
