CO - Change Order No. 5 to Contract No. 1272818 On Call Architect and Engineering and Design Services for Facilities Management (Multiyear Contract): for use by the Departments of Facilities Management (FM) and Fire Rescue (FR). This contract consists of providing on call architect and engineering services for a variety of planning, design, and construction projects for the County. This request is to increase contract funds for permit review fees for Fire Stations 5, 16, and 27. Awarded to Pond & Company. Amount Not To Exceed: $10,115.10.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on January 25, 2022, to five (5) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $5,299,736.80. On December 13, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to add SPLOST funding for an amount not exceed $586,000.00 for Fire Rescue to utilize Contract No. 1272818 for the design of Fire Station 27. On July 11, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to add SPLOST funds for an amount not to exceed $531,994.00 for the design of Fire Station 16. On November 8, 2023, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to add DWM and increase contract funds for an amount not to exceed $265,700.00 for the design of the Roadhaven Master Plan (Phases 1A & 1B). On May 14, 2024, the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 for an amount not to exceed $1,539,781.40 for A&E design services for the renovation of T.O. Vinson Health Center, E.L. Richardson Health Center, and for new construction of the Lucious Sanders Recreation Center and to develop a design prototype for Fire Stations 5 and 27. This request is to increase funding for permit review fees for Fire Stations 5, 16 and 27.
