PURPOSE:
Consists of purchasing from the competitively let SWC No.: 99999-001-SPD0000220-0005 for the purchase of portable radios, batteries, associated accesoories and to upgrade the public safety radio infrastructure from the G-Series Prime Site to the D-Series Virtualized Prime Site which can reduce the number of frequencies to be used at adjacent sites with minimal interference. Purchasing these radios provides a highly secure, reliable and interoperable communication between dispatchers and public safety personnel during life-safety incidents and the upgrade will keep wide-area simulcast subsystems operating even after a catastrophic loss of one of the prime sites. If the prime site becomes unavailable, the system restores operation with the secondary prime site.

Amount Not To Exceed: $2,186,202.44
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all associated documents.
