CO - Change Order No. 3 to Contract No. 1264031 Batteries for Two-Way Radios (Annual Contract With 2 Options to Renew): for use by the Departments of Public Safety Police Services
(PS) and Fire Rescue. This contract consists of providing batteries for two-way Radios. This request seeks to increase contract funds and add Public Works - Sanitation (PW-Sanitation), Sheriff's Office, and Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs (RPCA) for use. Additionally, this request seeks to reserve the right to transfer funds between contracts based on the needs of the County. Awarded to Motorola Solutions. Amount Not To Exceed: $199,000.00.

PURPOSE:
Awarded on August 25, 2021, to (2) two vendors for a total amount not to exceed $40,000.00. On May 4, 2021, Change Order No. 1 was approved to add Fire Rescue as an authorized user and to increase the contract funds for an amount not to exceed $21,000.00. On August 23, 2022, the BOC approved Renewal No. 1 for a total amount not to exceed $81,000.00. On August 8, 2023, the BOC approved Renewal No. 2 for a total amount not to exceed $142,000.00. On October 8, 2024, Change Order No. 2 was approved by the BOC to increase the contract term through October 15, 2025, and funds for a total amount not to exceed $90,000.00. This request seeks to increase the contract funds and add PW-Sanitation, Sheriff's Office, and RPCA to the contract. Lastly this request seeks to reserve the right to transfer funds between contracts based on the needs of the County.
