PURPOSE:
To approve SPLOST funding to install traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of Columbia Drive and Peachcrest Road. The purpose is to assist in clearing the intersection for emergency vehicles exiting Fire Station #7.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding will ensure that the traffic signal upgrade is completed and provide a safer exit for the emergency vehicles from Fire Station #7 and reduce any delays to the emergency site.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To transfer SPLOST funds in amount not to exceed $45,000.00 to a Capital Improvement Account allocated for Public Works for the traffic signal upgrades at Columbia Drive and Peachcrest Road.

To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
