PURPOSE:
Recommended changes to add a chapter to the Nuisance Ordinance to include Blight Tax to allow a mill rate increase for non-primary residential blighted properties
NEED/IMPACT:
The proposed Blight Tax nuisance ordinance addition creates an opportunity to minimize dilapidated properties and to allow the County to recover some of the costs associated with the demands of servicing these properties

Recommended Action
To approve the above referenced addition to the Nuisance Ordinance of DeKalb County and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents for implementation of the ordinance
