PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on November 10, 2020 for an amount not to exceed $1,609,816.36. This contract consists of the construction of a new amphitheater and bandshell, installation of a slate scape trail and detention area, grading, landscaping and lighting. Installation of a service drive and sidewalk area is included for access into and out of the amphitheater. This request for additional funding and to extend the contract due to delays in the production of the bandshell which has an extended lead time of 6-8 weeks and to increase funding to cover site erosion control measures while the contractor waits on the delivery of the bandshell.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract through June 30, 2022 with:
Bayne Development Group, LLC, 31 S. Center Street, Winder, GA 306980
Amount Not To Exceed: $35,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
