PURPOSE:
The Purpose of this Agenda Item is to provide funding to Save All Generations, Inc. to assist with Annual Education, cultural, and summer enrichment programming.
NEED/IMPACT:
Save All Generations, Inc. supports DeKalb County residents through a mission deeply aligned with the community's needs-particularly among immigrants, youth, and seniors. The organization is committed to fostering understanding and harmony across generations by assisting immigrants with integration into American society, empowering young people through education and mentorship, and uplifting senior citizens with advocacy and counseling. Through settlement services, job readiness programs, and civic education, they help new Americans navigate life in a diverse and welcoming region. For youth, they offer tutoring, college prep, anti-bullying initiatives, and emotional support, while seniors benefit from healthcare guidance, social engagement opportunities, and intergenerational programs. Altogether, Save All Generations strengthens the social fabric, promotes equity, and builds a more inclusive and resilient DeKalb County for all.
FISCAL IMPACT:
