PURPOSE:
To approve a resolution to appropriate District 7 Federal Coronavirus Relief Fund proceeds assigned to Grant Fund #258 for the purpose of providing emergency grants, rent, mortgage, utility assistance and food to individuals and families in the art community in DeKalb County who have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

NEED/IMPACT:
In response to the negative economic impact that DeKalb County citizens have suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents who work in the arts community who have lost their contract, job or have decreased wages because of COVID-19 have an immediate need for overdue rent, mortgage assistance, utility assistance, food, or other unforeseen financial/ emergency needs.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Appropriate an amount not to exceed $50,000 from POETA Account #105424.63258.521209.01.07.602313 to ART Station to provide emergency grants, rent, mortgage, utility assistance, and food to individuals and families in the art community in DeKalb County who have experienced loss of employment and wages as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
