PURPOSE:
To consider accepting and appropriating an additional $59,077.30 from the City of Tucker into Project 100253, Award 602271 for reimbursable expenses on the Tucker Streetscape project.
NEED/IMPACT:
On October 9, 2018, the Board of Commissioners approved entering into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the City of Tucker for funding the local match on the Tucker Streetscape project. On January 8, 2019, the Board of Commissioners awarded the construction project to CMES Inc. and authorized the use of $457,000 of City of Tucker funds on the project per the IGA. On April 28, 2020, the Board of Commissioners approved a change order that authorized the use of an additional $62,077.70 of City of Tucker funds. This item will authorize the use of additional funds to cover reimbursable expenses for support of the project, such as for material testing, project management, and construction management. The total amount of City of Tucker funds authorized for use on the project will be $578,155.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the county.
