PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on May 14, 2019 for an amount not to exceed $287,196.00. This contract consists of a comprehensive software solution that meets the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) requirements and support public safety operations to mitigate regulatory and compliance risks. This request is for additional funding for the FirstSign Early Intervention System module that will identify officers that have several complaints/uses of force. The Early Warning System is a function that is department mandated and is a CALEA Accreditation Standard. Adding this module will streamline the processes and data as the current process is manual and labor intensive.

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
Benchmark Analytics, LLC, 4619 N. Ravenswood Avenue, Suite 203, Chicago, IL 60640
Amount Not To Exceed: $124,864.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
