PURPOSE:
To consider accepting $118,823.00 for the DeKalb County Felony Mental Health Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriating the amount to a new Grant Fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has awarded $118,823.00 to the DeKalb County Felony Mental Health Court. Funding will be used toward annual conference, psychiatric & nursing services, counseling services, peer support, medication, drug testing & monitoring supplies for program participants. In addition to salary & benefits for the Program Coordinator. The grant period is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The required cash match ($20,969.00) will be met through the Superior Court Operating budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all services provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Grant in the amount of $118,823.00. Funding must be spent by June 30, 2025, end of State FY 2025.

To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept $118,823.00 for DeKalb County Felony Mental Health Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriate the amount to a new Grant Fund
