PURPOSE:
This contract consists of assessment activities primarily including, but not limited to: procurement policy and process review, local small business program assessment and effectiveness review, benchmarking activities, procurement policies and procedures development and revisions, process mapping, and customer service level reviews. As the Procurement Department continues in its Journey to Procurement Excellence, NIGP Consulting/Periscope Holdings was engaged to provide a strategic assessment of procurement operations. This nationally recognized procurement organization leverages use of experienced procurement professionals to offer focused attention on our governmental entity and its procurement department and staff. This focus allows for more practical recommendations and assistance in evaluating existing processes against national and local best practices within the procurement profession.
