PURPOSE:
To accept a $50,000 Community Building Grant from Park Pride Atlanta for capital improvements at Hairston Park
NEED/IMPACT:
The grant funds will be used at Hairston Park to activate natural areas with inviting amenities including: serenity garden, walking trails, swing benches, picnic tables, and lakefront seating. The total project budget is $100,000:
Park Pride Grant $50,000
Dist 4 2001 Park Bond $50,000
FISCAL IMPACT:
No impact to 2021 operating budget. The 2001 Park Bond will provide all matching funds.

Recommended Action
To approve the resolution to accept $50,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for Hairston Park and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
