PURPOSE:
Consists of purchasing from the competitively let TIPS Contract No. 230105 for the purchase of On-Premises Professional and Optional Managed Services. These services include staging, onsite installation, and verification of the County’s host servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and switches, as well three (3) years of infrastructure monitoring and consulting for remote assessment, remediation, and training. This purchase will support the deployment and ongoing support of the County’s virtual server environment and critical data storage systems to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operation of public safety and departmental applications. Failure to approve could cause delays in deploying essential monitoring and consulting resources, as well as increasing the likelihood of outages affecting public safety, access to critical data, and essential services across multiple departments.
