PURPOSE:

*To consider approving the FY25 High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) grant from the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP); and
*To consider accepting up to $276,156.00 from ONDCP and appropriating this amount to the grant fund for spending in compliance with the grantor’s requirements; and
*To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

ONDCP has provided financial assistance to continue the efforts of the multi-agency taskforce targeting high intensity drug areas in DeKalb County. These funds will be used to purchase supplies and equipment and to pay overtime costs for HIDTA operations.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Match: This grant requires no match contribution.
