PURPOSE:
To authorize the acceptance of GDOT State Funding Assistance Associated with the project for Airfield Crack Seal & Remarking at the DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport; and
To approve the execution of the attached resolution.
NEED/IMPACT:
Authorization is needed to accept a Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) allocation of state funding assistance that consists of the project to project for Airfield Crack Seal & Remarking at the DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport. The state funding assistance provides for improvements to sustain continued safety on the Airport.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding assistance includes state funding in an allocation of $702,478.84. There is an additional matching cost to the County in the amount of approximately $234,159.61, for a total amount of $936,638.45.
