PURPOSE:
To accept $1,985,160.00 from the Fiscal Year 2026 Economic Development Initiative (EDI) - Community Project Funding (CPF)- Congressional Grants Division (EDI-CPF) Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the grant period of acceptance date through September 30, 2034, for the Avondale Dunaire I Renovations and to authorize the CEO or his designee to execute all necessary documents.

NEED/IMPACT:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department has applied for and was awarded grant funding to make improvements to Avondale Dunaire I Park located at 700 George Luther Drive, Decatur, Ga 30032 (15 252 04 048). The grant funding will be used for capital improvements by the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs for this DeKalb County Park.

FISCAL IMPACT:
$1,985,160.00 Reimbursable grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
