PURPOSE:
To allocate $216,149.50 from 2001 District 2 Bond Account 600010 for improvements at Rutledge Park.
NEED/IMPACT:
This funding is needed to support the detailed engineering, environmental analysis, design, and permitting required to move the Rutledge Park improvements and stream restoration project from concept to construction, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and minimizing risks. Ultimately, the investment benefits DeKalb County residents by enhancing park accessibility, safety, and recreational opportunities, while also improving environmental conditions and long-term sustainability of the community space.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost of the improvement is estimated to be $216,149.50 and 2001 District 2 Bond Account 600010 will be the proposed funding source. Specially, the following account has been identified for funding:

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve funding from 2001 District 2 Park Bond Account 600010 for improvements at Rutledge Park; and, to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the projects.
