PURPOSE:
Consists of the design for the replacement of the deficient bridge to allow for multi-modal traffic including vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles due to the proximity to the South Fork Peachtree Creek Trail near the western limit of the project, transit facilities and pedestrian generators located within the project limits. The project will begin at the signalized intersection of Spring Creek Drive, across from which the South Fork Peachtree Creek Trail currently terminates, and will end at the signalized intersection of Willivee Drive. These project limits will provide adequate room for tie-in of the new bridge, including any necessary turn lane, walls and traffic signal improvements. This work will be assigned through a series of task orders as the project develops. Five (5) proposals were received.
