PURPOSE:
This funding is being allocated in accordance with the approved categories for SPLOST II funding for general repairs of the senior centers to address deferred maintenance items and maintain the facilities in a state of good repair. This substitute changes the source of funding from SPLOST I to SPLOST II.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding will ensure that all outdoor areas are safe and upgraded for our senior population who desires to enjoy the outdoor amenities at Lou Walker Senior Center.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To appropriate an amount not to exceed $200,000 to a Capital Improvement Account for outdoor infrastructure upgrades at Lou Walker Senior Center.
