PURPOSE:
The purpose of the legislation is for the BOC to approve the acceptance of $45,072.61 of PY17 /FY18Adult Program Funds from the Technical College System of Georgia.
The reallocation award is a result of grant fund allocations from the Technical College System of Georgia, of PY17/FY18 Adult program funds that WorkSource DeKalb is eligible to receive.
The Statement of Award letter is $45,072.61 for PY17/FY18 Adult program funds.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding will provide employment and training activities and services for the citizens of DeKalb County, in accordance with WIOA regulations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact to the County.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Authorize approval to accept additional funds for PY17 Adult Programs grant.
Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
