PURPOSE:
To create a capital project for Mystery Valley Golf Course not to exceed $650,000 funded through the Tourism Product Development of the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds are needed for the renovations of the 66 bunkers and 19 greens at Mystery Valley Golf Course. The funds will also be used for paving, turf repairs, renovations to the club house and course restroom, and other capital improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Appropriation of $650,000 from the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund account 104027.89110.541401.01.601643 to a new Mystery Valley Golf Course CIP account
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To create a capital project account for Mystery Valley Golf Course and appropriate $650,000 from the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund to fund the account; and to authorize the CEO to execute all necessary documents in the completion of the project.
