Repurposing of Wade Walker Library Funds

PURPOSE:
Repurpose Wade Walker Library Funds by distributing $1.5 million dollars to refurbish Sue Kellogg Library in Stone Mountain, up to $2 million to refurbish the Covington Library in Decatur and $500k to be held in reserve to address any potential shortfalls, or directed for cosmetic upgrades at the Clarkston Library in Clarkston.
NEED/IMPACT:
Sue Kellogg, Covington and Clarkston libraries will receive necessary refurbishing. Constituents will have an improved experience with their libraries as much needed remodeling, maintenance and aesthetic issues will be addressed with the repurposing of these library funds.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
