PURPOSE:
To accept a grant award from the Department of Homeland Security in the amount of $373,200.29 in Federal Funding with a contribution of $37,320.03 from DeKalb County for a total approve budget of $410,520.32.
NEED/IMPACT:
A grant award notification was provided to DeKalb County Fire Rescue in the amount of $373,200.29. The Department has identified the following equipment/programs for purchase: (400) cancer screening physicals and (7) source capture exhaust systems
FISCAL IMPACT:
DeKalb County must match 10% of the grant for a total cost to the county of $37,200.03
