PURPOSE:

To consider accepting a supplemental grant award for FY’17 from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council in the amount of $8016 for the purchase of tablets, keyboards and cases for the DUI Court Program.  Appropriating that amount to Award # 601818, Project # 104407 for spending in compliance with the grantor’s requirements.  Said award must be used in the 4th quarter of the FY’17 grant.  No match is required.

NEED/IMPACT:

The grant award governs the use of awarded funds for the purchase of technology for the DUI Court Program. The purchase of tablets for the DUI Court Team would defray the costs of toner and copy paper and would allow the program to operate more efficiently and to be more eco-friendly.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact.

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To accept the supplemental grant award for FY’17 from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and GA Accountability Court Grant Program in the amount of $8016 and appropriate said amount to the existing Grant Fund (Award # 601818, Project # 104407) for spending in compliance with the grantor’s requirements; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents.
