PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on October 8, 2024, for an amount not to exceed $265,459.64. On February 11, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $681,597.41 to increase contract funds. On April 22, 2025, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $60,000.00 to increase the contract funds to equip additional fleet with accessories as needed. This contract consists of purchasing through the competitively let Cobb County / Omnia Contract No. 23-6692-01 for the purchase of dashcam equipment, related accessories, licensing, and installation for emergency vehicles. This request seeks to add the Department of Watershed Management to the contract and increase the contract funds to purchase dash cam equipment, related accessories, installation, and 5-year license. The video-based safety license includes GPS/location functionality. Telematics devices will be physically installed in each vehicle to support remote, cloud-based access to video footage.
