PURPOSE:
To approve a Tree Trim Easement between DeKalb County and Georgia Power for an easement at 1116 Rock Chapel Road, Lithonia GA, 30002, Parcel ID 18 009 26 001, for $12,396.00
NEED/IMPACT:
Georgia Power is acquiring an approximately 1033’ linear easement to allow GPC to perform tree cutting and/or trimming that will protect the existing utility line and provide safe and reliable power. GPC will provide DeKalb County compensation in the amount of $12,396.00.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The County will receive $12,936.00 to be used for capital improvements at Rock Chapel Park, Parcel ID 18 009 26 001.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the Tree Trim Easement between DeKalb County Government and Georgia Power Company for the “property” as outlined in the attached agreement at 1116 Rock Chapel Road, Lithonia, GA 30002, Parcel ID 18 009 26 001, for $12,396.00; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
