NEED/IMPACT:

DeKalb County and the PATH Foundation have built a long-standing partnership for over 25 years, to utilize both public and private funds to construct multi-use bicycle/pedestrian facilities in DeKalb County, such as the Atlanta-Stone Mountain Trail, the Arabia Mountain Trail, the South Fork Peachtree Creek Trail, and the South River Trail.

The attached agreement restates the basic terms and conditions pursuant to which PATH will donate its professional expertise and guidance to the County during all phases of multi-use trail development within the County.  It is proposed to extend for another five-year period.  The agreement confirms that projects constructed with County funds will be competitively bid.

The County shall pay PATH for services rendered as outlined in the Project Agreements. Funding amount and

source will be determined for each project.
