PURPOSE:

This contract consists of the provision of repair services for two (2) bridges at Sugar Creek Golf Course (Project #075222-Sugar Creek Golf Course-Golf Cart Path Bridge Repair #2) that provide access for maintenance vehicles and golf carts.  Theses bridges have been damaged by recent rainstorms and flash flooding conditions in the County that have severely eroded embankments and caused dangerous wash outs.  This request is to re-stabilize the embankments, encase the pile bents in the concrete, re-enforce abutments for future wash outs and remove/replace approach slabs. These services are necessary to prevent significant safety risks to the public.
