PURPOSE:

Consists of purchasing off the competitively let Sourcewell Contract for the purchase of twelve (12) 28 cubic yard high compaction rear loader refuse trucks. These trucks will be used to collect residential refuse, recycling, and yard waste throughout DeKalb County.

These are replacement units under the seven (7) year replacement schedule.

Recommend approval to purchase from the Sourcewell Contract No. 060920-KTC with:

 

Kenworth Truck Company, Division of PACCAR Inc., 10630 N.E. 38th Place, Kirkland, WA 98033 (authorized dealer MHC Kenworth-Atlanta)

 

Amount Not To Exceed:  $5,337,360.00
