PURPOSE:
This request seeks approval for the purchase and training of surveillance detection equipment consisting of the TTK Tactical Kit, Max Scanning Devices, and equipment training for the Homeland Security Unit. This equipment is used to encompass all aspects of listening and bug detection to combine it with mapping technology. The County will not be able to complete intelligence listening and bug surveillance sweeps withing building in DeKalb County without the equipment.
