PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 13, 2016 for an amount not to exceed $561,967.08. This contract consists of the renovations to the football field and concession stand at Exchange Park to include, but not limited to the demolition and reconstruction of the football field, concession stand, press box and roadway. This change order is to ratify funds for emergency repairs to the irrigation supply line from the football field back to the meter due to large water leaks. These repairs were necessary to ensure the newly placed sod for the field takes root and survives the spring and summer in time for fall football season.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 for emergency repairs in the amount of $11,525.86 with:
Astra Group, Inc., 300 Churchill Court, Woodstock, GA 30188
Amount Not To Exceed: $11,525.86
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
