PURPOSE:
Appropriate $350,000.00 from Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act grant funds assigned to Account 105424.63258.E.1.01.602313 reserved for District 1 to St. Vincent de Paul to provide rental assistance to address economic hardship created by the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
NEED/IMPACT:
This funding will place financial resources with St. Vincent de Paul to provide housing relief in the form of rental assistance to residents that have been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The funding will come from District 1 CARES Act Funding and be appropriated to St. Vincent de Paul.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the appropriation of $350,000.00 from Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security(CARES) Act grant funds assigned to Account 105424.63258.E.1.01.602313 reserved for District 1 to St. Vincent de Paul and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or his designee to execute all necessary documents in a form acceptable to the County Attorney, for the purpose of providing housing support and relief from the ongoing public health emergency.
