PURPOSE:
Pursuant to 13A of the Organizational Act where “The chief executive shall nominate a person to the commission, “CEO Thurmond is nominating Dr. Patrice L. Basanta-Henry for appointment to the Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority (Grady). This term will begin upon confirmation by the Board of Commissioners and will expire November 30, 2023.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority is committed to working to meet the healthcare needs of Fulton and DeKalb counties residents. Dr. Basanta-Henry currently serves as Medical Director at Atlanta Maternal Fetal Medicine, an affiliate of Mednax National Medical Group. She is certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Maternal Fetal Medicine and will be an asset to The Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority.
