PURPOSE:
To approve the Agreement of Mutual Aid Medical Examiner Services for DeKalb County, Fulton County, Cobb County, Georgia Bureau of Investigation
NEED/IMPACT:
The Agreement of Mutual Aid will formalize the relationship between DeKalb County, Fulton County, Cobb County, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in providing prompt and efficient investigations into fatalities, properly identifying and managing decedents’ during an emergency, and to promote the general health and welfare of the populace by enabling their medical examiners to provide additional resources, equipment, and/or personnel as needed
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost to the County

Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
