PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 28, 2016 to two (2) contractors for a total amount not to exceed $6,000,000.00. On November 7, 2016, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase contract performance time by 365 days and total amount not to exceed by $6,000,000.00. On September 12, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to increase contract performance time by 365 days, term to December 31, 2018 and total amount not to exceed by $12,000,000.00. DWM Operations and Maintenance staff is currently unable to meet the number and complexity of the emergency sewer repairs. This final request is to increase funding, contract performance time by 6 months and extend the contract term to July 31, 2019 to allow for continued service until the procurement of new contracts.
