PURPOSE:
The purpose of this resolution is to create a formal and consistent process for how DeKalb County selects
voting delegates to represent the County in external organizations such as the Association of County
Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG), the National Association of Counties (NACo), and similar bodies.
NEED/IMPACT:
This item will ensure that DeKalb County’s interests are represented with ACCG, NACo and other external
organizations and protect the health, safety and welfare of the County’s citizens.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer or her designee to execute all necessary documents.
