PURPOSE:
To extend the current Rental Agreement between DeKalb County Government and Cherians Real Estate, LLC. through December 31, 2026.
NEED/IMPACT:
The one-year lease extension is to allow WorkSource DeKalb to continue to operate out of the building located at 774 Jordan Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033. The lease is currently set to terminate on December 31, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT:
2026 Rental Rate: $204,417.68
2026 Estimated utility costs: $27,000
Total: 231,417.68
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve extension of the referenced lease agreement and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents in a form acceptable to the County Attorney.
