PURPOSE:
To create an Ad-Hoc Committee that shall review the financial, operational and land use impacts upon DeKalb County and its citizens of the request by Emory University and others to be annexed into the City of Atlanta.
NEED/IMPACT:
The County must assess and understand the various impacts of the proposed annexation. The Committee shall make recommendations to the Governing Authority.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The resolution to create the Committee will have no financial impact.
