PURPOSE:

As the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic remain, it is imperative to continue public-private partnerships that help to lessen the impact of the pandemic in our local communities. The purpose of this agenda item is to allocate funding that will aid The District 5 End of Summer Event in providing community violence intervention and educational assistance.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

In support of the District 5 End of Summer Health, Wellness, and Back to School Event, Jacobs Engineering is providing a sponsorship in the amount of $1500.

Recommended Action

To approve the acceptance of $1500 for District 5 and a summer event.
