PURPOSE:
Georgia Power Company is upgrading electric distribution facilities to improve service reliability to the community and has identified 817 George Luther Drive property located in Decatur, Georgia for equipment placement. Georgia Power is seeking to acquire an easement agreement with DeKalb County.
NEED/IMPACT:
Requested by Georgia Power Company
FISCAL IMPACT:
All costs will be absorbed by Georgia Power Company.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Approve the granting of an easement to allow Georgia Power Company to upgrade electric distribution facilities. Authorizing the Chief Executive Officer or designee to execute any necessary documents in a form acceptable to the County Attorney.
