PURPOSE:
To appropriate a total of $30,000 from the District 7 Reserve For Appropriation to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women - Stone Mountain-Lithonia Chapter for educational programming and mentoring for DeKalb County youth females.
NEED/IMPACT:
The $30,000 appropriation will be used to develop and implement a mentoring program for DeKalb County youth females, consisting of educational teaching and training through workshops, seminars, STEAM programming, tutoring, and academic resources. The programming is needed to provide mentoring, mental wellness, social enrichment, and leadership development.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Non-Departmental - Unincorporated Fund - Other Miscellaneous Payments (09130.573099.272.0000.0000) - $30,000
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
