PURPOSE:
The purpose of this agenda item is to the donation of funds valued at $3,500 to DeKalb County Human Services Department from Clover Health for the District 5 Senior Holiday Outreach Gathering in appreciation of DeKalb County Seniors.
NEED/IMPACT:
According to the Mayo Clinic, the holiday season often brings unwelcome guests - stress and depression. The District 5 Senior Holiday Outreach Gathering provides a celebration and gathering for District 5 Seniors who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to engage with their peers, strengthening the social/emotional wellness of the seniors.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The donation is at no cost to the County

To accept the donation and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
