This request seeks to purchase from the competitively let SWC for the purchase of a 5-year agreement for the RAVE Alert solution. This solution will allow the County to send out mass notifications to DeKalb County citizens alerting them of any critical events. Awarded to Motorola Solutions, Inc. Amount Not To Exceed: $687,600.00.

PURPOSE:
Consists of purchasing from the competitively let SWC No. 99999-SPD0000172-011 Integrated Security and Surveillance Products and Services for the purchase of a 5-year agreement for the RAVE Alert solution. As unexpected events and inclement weather occurs, it is imperative that DeKalb County have an alerting system to advise the citizens of these events and provide updates and critical information. Various mass notification systems were reviewed, and it was determined that the Motorola RAVE Alert solution was the most advantageous to the County with the ease of use and training required to operate the solution.
