PURPOSE:
To identify funding sources for various budget requests recommended by committees during the 2024 budget process.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Planning, Economic Development, and Community Services (PECS) and Finance, Audit, and Budget (FAB Committees voted to recommend funding various budget requests during their February 26, 2024 meetings, and the administration agreed to identify funding sources for these items within thirty days.
This agenda item outlines proposed funding sources for the completion of the Animal Shelter modular kennel and dog run project, renovation and furnishing of two Claratel Behavioral Health facilities, Wellroot Family Services, senior home repair, and Crestline roundabout and sidewalk projects. The remaining requests for capital improvements will be reviewed for funding through SPLOST II.
