PURPOSE:
To consider accepting supplemental funding in the amount of $5,000 from the Criminal Justice
Coordinating Council (CJCC) for DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court treatment services and
appropriating it in an existing award.
NEED/IMPACT:
CJCC awarded DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court a supplemental fund in the amount of $5,000 to be used for medications for program participants. The grant period is from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. Match of $556 is required and will be met through Superior Court Operating and DATE Fund Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Total supplemental funding provided by CJCC is $5,000. Funding must be spent by June 30th, 2020, end of
State FY 2020. Upon approval, funds will be appropriated into existing CJCC Drug Court award.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents by January 01, 2020. To accept supplemental funding in the amount of $5,000 from CJCC for DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court and appropriate into an existing award.
